About Me

I am happy to introduce myself. I am a Bilingual (French/English) Mental Health Nurse with over 15 years of various trauma focused clinical experience. I used a trauma informed lens and have worked with many different populations including women and children with trauma, people dealing with depression, issues with mood and anxiety , ADHD, Autism, as well as emergency response personnel and military members including their families.

If you  would like to finally have insight into how to find peace in a turbulent world, or want relief from your experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD or need help navigating mental health services, I am your guide.

Why I am unique as a therapist and why you could benefit from reaching out today:

There are many therapists out there, and it is important to find one that is a good fit for you. I can say that I am unique in that I am a Registered Nurse and Mental Health Therapist, with 18 years of practice in various areas of mental health. I also have personal experience with mental health, and I am a caregiver for my father. Along with being a French/English bilingual therapist working with both English and French families and communities in Ontario, I have provided therapy to the Canadian Military at Base Borden and provided ongoing Mood and Anxiety care to inpatients in the hospital.

My unique approach is that I take a big-picture view and conduct a 360-degree assessment of not just your mental health but how your lifestyle and other areas of your life affect your physical health and well-being. Many other therapists focus on only one area, which can be beneficial for a targeted approach. However, my strength lies in examining how your relationships, work, and environment can be improved by taking a proactive approach to creating an intentional, meaningful life.

Please know that it is worth taking the time, one step at a time . 😊
