Secret to Inner Peace: Mental Recharge
Inner peace: That is what the candle says. I bought it thinking it would inspire me to focus on the things that bring about peace but realized that inner peace obviously does not come from burning candles. I realized that I was looking for ways to recharge myself. We often focus on charging up all our gadgets, our laptop, phones, earbuds, speakers but when was the last time you focused on recharging your batteries?
During the month of January, I encourage you to focus on the things that bring about more energy for you. Being authentic to your needs is important and may not be the classic ways that people think of when they think of self-care.
